I have written many columns and letters for local newspapers in East Tennessee. I kept the text of each column or letter on my computer, along with the date that I submitted it. I was also keeping a file of clippings to show when the submissions were actually published, but during the period 2013-2014, when I was getting remarried, putting my Oak Ridge house in shape to sell, and moving to Knoxville (with many boxes of papers), the file got in disarray. This is why some of the letters and columns I show here on my Web site I have put “Published(?)” in order to indicate that I don’t have a clipping for it in my file. I do have all the clippings….somewhere.
